Eileen Hughes after serving for I think it is twelve years as our Chairperson/Secretary and Suzanne Hicking who has served us for ten years as our Treasurer/Membership Secretary have both retired from their positions.
We are sure Eileen and Suzanne will enjoy a well earned rest from commitee activities. Geoff Shore presented Eileen with a print of Britanys and Suzanne one of Labradors as a small thank you from the Society.

This year the John Barlett Memorial Shield, an award given by the Society for the member who in the previous year has done the most to encourage newcomers into our sport, was presented by Geoff Shore, (who has a busy evening presenting one thing or another) to Dave Templar of Countryways Gundogs.
