GUNDOG WORKING TEST - 6th JULY 2024 - Sholford Farm, Somerset
We had a superb day at the BWWGS HPR working test on Saturday held at Sholford Farm. Huge shout outs to our hosts Julia & John Griffiths; our judges Deb Bowns (Puppy), Mark Spearing & Andrew Farley (Novice), Peter Szalai & Alan Parr (Open) and Ray Davies (Water).
We always say it and we’ll say it again, these events simply don’t happen without the support of our whole committee and our fabulous team of helpers, stewards and dummy throwers, so a huge thank you to all of you too. Thank you also to our generous sponsors, Skinner’s. We had some lovely feedback from competitors and judges on a well-run event with some challenging tests.

A fabulous day was had today at Upton Pyne by kind permission of Paul Bowyer. We were blessed with excellent weather although extremely wet underfoot.
Many thanks to our judges Mark Firmin and Ian Jones and our excellent guns Paul Bowyer, Neil Spearing and Nigel Turner as well as all the handlers for creating such a warm and friendly atmosphere.

BWWGS Novice FT RESULTS..... 23rd January 2023
Today the BWWGS held our last trial of the season at Upton Pyne by kind permission of our host Mr Paul Bowyer.
It was a challenging day for all the competitors as the ground was frozen solid to start and there was very little or no wind. However all the dogs worked hard and as the day wore on the sun came out and things warmed up - just a little!
Our thanks go to our judges, Steve Chant and Peter Szalai, our guns Mark Spearing, Neil Spearing, Nigel Turner and Steve Harvey, our red flag Ray Davies and our picking up dog Julia Griffiths. Also to our Chief Steward Sue Wagstaff and host Paul Bowyer.
